Miller served for 15 years as Vice President of Food for the Hungry International, which continues to support the Disciple Nations Alliance, and utilizes its conferences and resources in its staff training program. FH association field operations in Myanmar, Peru, and elsewhere focus on empowering local churches by means of DNA related conferences and resources. Dwight Vogt, FH association’s Chief Operating Officer serves on the Board of Directors of Disciple Nations Alliance, U.S. Until January 1, 2008, the Disciple Nations Alliance, U.S. functioned as a subsidiary ministry of the FH association.

The YWAM School of Community Development in Tyler, Texas played a critical role on the founding of the Disciple Nations Alliance as it was here in the early 90s that DNA co-founders Darrow Miller and Bob Moffitt began to co-teach along with Vishal Mangalwadi. Since then, Darrow and Bob have remained popular speakers at YWAM bases and leadership training events worldwide. Seattle-based YWAM Publishing continues to play a strategic role in advancing the DNA school of thought by publishing and distributing Disciple Nations Alliance books, including Discipling Nations: The Power of Truth to Transform Culture by Darrow Miller.
